Dr. Guillermo Escalante received his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training and became a certified athletic trainer/strength and conditioning specialist. In 1999, Dr. Escalante completed an MBA with concentrations in Healthcare Management and Marketing. He returned to school in 2004 and completed a doctorate in Athletic Training with an emphasis in rehabilitation in 2012. Dr. Escalante is currently an assistant professor of Kinesiology at California State University San Bernardino and the COO of EdgePT in Upland, CA. His research focuses on performance enhancement, sports nutrition, and sports medicine. He has authored several peer reviewed publications and over 50 articles in Muscle & Fitness, MuscleMag, and Bodybuilding.com. He also serves as a guest lecturer in the sports rehabilitation sciences at local universities and has treated and/or trained athletes from novices to pros since 1997. In addition to his expertise working with patients and athletes, Dr. Escalante remains active as an athlete as a national level bodybuilding competitor.
