Podcast #11-18 Dr Gary Chimes Lake Washington Sports and Spine part 2

Dr. Gary Chimes (in his own words): I am a sports medicine physician who works in Bellevue, Washington.   My area of focus is KPA – Keeping People Active.  In my former life, I worked in academic medicine as an MD/PhD, where I taught residents and trained fellows while seeing patients.  In my late 30s, I made the shift into private clinical practice so that I could focus more on my own health and also prioritize the needs of my patients more precisely.  I love to focus on Health Optimization, which at its heart recognizes that time is a limiting factor when prioritizing your health, so I help educate patients in developing both strategies and tactics in making optimal health decisions to meet their activity goals.  To learn more about Dr. Chimes, his clinical partner, Dr. Garrett Hyman, and their medical practice, visit www.lakewass.com

Podcast #7-18 Dr Josh Emdur, DO SteadyMD part 2

Dr. Josh Emdur, DO (in his own words): “I am a board-certified Family Medicine physician (practicing for over 10 years) and 2:53 marathoner with a passion for providing personal, high value medical care that embraces the use of technology.  My friends and family have texted me their medical questions on a daily basis for years (despite having their own respective doctors). It is this concept that gave me the idea to start a virtual primary care practice. Now with SteadyMD everyone can benefit from having a doctor that really knows them, understands their lifestyle, goals, and passions at their fingertips. I live in Boulder, Colorado, and when I am not doctoring I can be found outside with my wife, two sons, and two dogs. I am an avid trail runner, mountaineer, backcountry skier, and photographer. To learn more about Dr. Josh Emdur, and about his virtual primary care practice, visit www.steadymd.com/running
